Gathering at the local ground after the rally, NPO outgoing president ML Markson briefed the congregation about the menace of anti-social elements which is undermining the rights of the general people with bomb, threats, violence and illegal taxation by different armed groups and Government departments through different reasons.

He stated that, the people are saddened and devastated by any form of violence especially the factional fights among the armed groups while adding that any form of bullet and bomb culture must be stopped immediately and encourage pro-people activities.

In the backdrop of increasing reports of extortions, hijacking vehicles along the NH-2 by armed groups and miscreants, sending threat sms and letters to government departments and rampant practice of percentages system levied by both armed groups and government departments, the frontal bodies held a joint meeting on December 8 and decided to organize the public rally.
