IMPHAL, December 27: The Manipur Peoples`™ Party has charged the Ibobi Singh led government of being a puppet of the Research and Analysis Wing, RAW and at the same time letting loose some State sponsored miscreants to create violence and bring disunity in the State.
MPP president N Sovakiran today called a press conference at the party office and said this is proved by the frequent bomb blasts in the State in recent times.
The frequent bomb blasts in the heart of the city which is a high security zone only proves this, he said adding that unless there is government patronage it would be hard for anyone to trigger such devastating explosives in the heart of the city.
Any such attempt to trigger blast in the city would have been intercepted by the Indian Intelligence and the miscreants would have only ended in jail, he added.
Many have been killed and a lot more injured by numerous bomb blasts, however none of the investigating agencies or the intelligence department are investigating Sovakiran alleged.
It is not just the government but there are many others present in State Assembly who are sponsored and backed by unwanted elements, he continued.
Meanwhile, it is also unfortunate that eight human skulls were recovered during earth excavation work at the erstwhile Tombisana High School near the Old Assembly Secretariate which is a high security area, he lamented and said the school campus had been used to camp various security forces including the CRPF and the State police commandos.
He alleged that unless there was official approval for a mass grave, it would have been impossible to bury eight persons inside the school.
He further demanded the State government to find the truth within a week`™s time or else the party will submit a memorandum to the National Human Rights Commission and further appealed the Centre for a CBI investigation.
