The president of Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress Committee said this in a routine meeting with media at his official quarter this afternoon.
He explained his view that this was despite the people of state having confronted various atrocious incidents, including torture under the boots of security force behind Armed Forces Special Power Act 1958 till last one year.
He said that as same to the previous years the 2014 year wan unfortunate and unfaithful year. The people faced failure of government governance in various sectors like law and order, many bomb blast took place and killed various innocent people and many are leave severe injured who`s life unconsolidated from society.
During the last 13 year of Congress party ruled state has confronted many fake encounters under the name of counter insurgency in state by security force. And many precious Manipuris remain untraced. Many had also been raped or killed, the MLA said.
He said the recently discovered eight skeletal remains at a construction site at Tombisana High School will expose the government and its enforcement agencies like the state police and central Paramilitary forces and what atrocities they have been committing during past many years.
He reminded the people of the verdict of the Supreme Court on the 1600 cases filed by Extrajudicial Execution Victim Families` Association Manipur found fake encounter cases.
Another verdict on the rape and killing of Thangjam Monorama by Assam Rifles personnel has also gone in favour of the victims, and a compensation of Rs. 5 lakhs have been order to be paid to the family of the victim, he said.
He said the evil perpetrated by the State government will meet with divine justice. He also wished everyone a prosperous New Year 2015.
