IMPHAL, Feb 19: A 66 year old man who has been undergoing treatment at Shija hospitals after being knocked down by a Honda Active succumbed to his injury.
The deceased has been identified as one Ahanthem Asnikumar Singh, 66 son of late A Parijatkumar Singh of Langjing Achouba.
On February 15 around 9.50 pm he was taking a walk with a friend when he was reportedly knocked down by Honda Active bearing registration number MN01Q-6825. He was evacuated at Shija Hospitals the same night and later succumbed to his injury around 6pm yesterday.
While a case has been registered with the police, the body of the deceased was handed over to family after post mortem examination.
