Blast condemnations continue to pour in from many organisations

IMPHAL, 13 February: With the State in grip of fear of Swine Flu in the state All Manipur Union Clubs`™ Organisation, AMUCO in a press release stated that it is unfortunate that the state Government is taking the issue lightly.

A release said that as preventive homeopathy medicine are distributed at only few specific spots which could not reach the masses. The release further said that it would be better if the medicines are distributed at every hospital, PHCs and CHCs.

AMUCO further condemned the recent bomb blast at Khwairamband Bazar which caused three lives lost and left 21 injured.

It further appealed to all concern not to repeat such incident in future.

All India Students`™ Federation (AISF) Manipur State Council too condemned the blast in the heart of the city of Imphal recently on 11th March 2015. In a press release signed by its president stated that the culprit behind the heinous act must be booked according to the law of the land at the earliest.

Further the release stated that the 48 hours general strike imposed by the All Manipur Minority Students Union is fully supported by AISF and will continue to support in further agitations.

Condemnation also continued to pour in from various political parties and civil organisations. Among them were, the Committee on Human Rights, COHR, Indigenous People`™s Association of Kangleipak, The CPI(ML) Manipur State Committee and the Workers`™ Union Manipur.
