IMPHAL, March 15: The KCP has clarified that the party is in no way related to the bomb blast at Khwairamband Temporary Market shed on March 11 evening which killed three and injured 21.
In a press release the KCP said that its fighting group Meeyamgi Fingang Lanmee (MFL) has express deep sorrow for those victims of the bomb blast.
It said the KCP takes the blast at the crowded place of Imphal heart of city very seriously and expressed strongly condemnation of the crime and shared the sorrow to all the families of the victims.
One day national safety campaign held
IMPHAL, March 15: The Phaijing Ching Nupi Loumi Sinmi Lup, held the 44th National Safety Week campaign on March 13 afternoon at the Juvenile Club complex, Phaijing Ching, a release of the All India Trade Union Congress, Manipur State Committee said.
Thousands of locals, including many women, took part in the campaign, the release further said.
The AITUC, Manipiur State Committee general secretary, L Sotinkumar was the chief guest and village committee chairman, T Rajendra Singh was guest of honour and well known public figure of the area, N Manihar Meitei, was the president of the function, the release said.
