IMPHAL, March 25: The Kuki Students`™ Organisation has condemned the threats made by so called Vice-President of BJP, Chandel District, Konal and Joseph Chothe who called himself the President of Kisan Morcha, BJP Chandel District in connection with the case of Innocent, a Primary School Teacher of Samukom Primary School under Machi Block of Chandel District for being absent from the school for more than a year.
According to a release of the organisation, a meeting was held between Konal, Joseph and Innocent with the KSO Machi Block. However, the organisation was threatened by the two BJP leaders and further stated that they will back the primary teacher, Innocent so that no action is taken up against him. In connection with the issue, the organisation has appealed to the President of BJP Manipur Pradesh to clarify on the identifications of Konal and Joseph as soon as possible otherwise the organisation will take up matters in their own hands, it said.
