IMPHAL, Apr 30: Saying that the devastating storm that occurred on April 24 night has left a trails of destruction besides destroying residential houses, schools and village community hall at Longpi village under Nungba Sub-division in Tamenglong district, the Longpi Village Authority lamented that normal school class in the village had to be put in abeyance as all the classrooms had been swept away by the storm thereby putting careers of the students in jeopardy.
In a press release, the Longpi Village Authority urged the government to address the mass destruction caused by the storm in the village at the earliest.
