IMPHAL, June 5: The fist volume of `The Compilation of Manipur State Acts and Rules with Important Government Instructions/office Memoranda` written by senior Government Advocate RS Reisang was released today by Advocate General, Manipur Th Ibohal Singh as chief guest during a function at the Conference Hall of High Court Bar Association.
Organized by the Department of Public Prosecutor cum Government Advocate (High Court), the release function was also attended by senior Government Advocate and author of the book RS Reisang as president; Chairman of Bar Council of Manipur senior Advocate N Ibotombi Singh and president of High Court Bar Association Senior Advocate L Shyamkishwor Singh as guests of honour.
Addressing the gathering, Th Ibohal Singh said that every advocate has its own library at their residence related to legal cases. However, many of them have less spirit of writing though they are voracious readers.
He further said that today`™s release book will help advocates in wide legal practice as the book contains various state acts and rules as well as important government instructions.
The author of the book deserves acknowledgement from the legal fraternity for compiling various acts and rules for state advocates in the book which will help advocates in handling cases effectively, he added.
Advocate RS Reisang said that the compilation of the book was finished within three months and appreciated his staff for helping in releasing the book.
He also that that now there will be no need to gather various acts and rules for state advocates through the internet by law practitioners as the book contains all the relevant information of the subjects.
