IMPHAL, Jun 12: In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 30 (2) (a) of the Food Safety and Standard Act, 206, Commissioner of Food Safety/Principal Secretary (Health & FW), Government of Manipur has prohibited storage, distribution or sale of `Maggi`™ in the whole of the State of Manipur with immediate effect till analysis reports are received from Food Testing Laboratory and final decision is taken on such analysis report either to continue the prohibition or lift the ban/prohibition in the interest of public health
