IMPHAL, Jun 14: The Wangjing Women & Girls Society and Action For Rural Development Organisation under the guidance of International Peace women Group (IWPG), South Korea conducted a walk out campaign at the central hall of Wangjing Women & Girls Society.
The function was attended by Dr M Nara Singh, Member of World Peace Council and national vice-president of Indian affiliate of International Physician for the prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW) as chief guest; L Damu Singh, Chairman of JSS Thoubal as president and H Bihari Singh as guest of honour.
Around 150 women from different places of Manipur attended the campaign which was conducted with the slogans `War is costly, peace is priceless; `Peace is our gift to each other`™, `Violence breeds violence, lets breed peace`™ and `War is always a mistake.`™
