KANGPOKPI, Jun.15: Committee of Kangpokpi Ward No.10 Mission Compound has expressed gratitude to Work Minister Rantankumar and MLA Nemcha Kipgen for their initiative in black topping Mission Road today.
Hari Chhetry, Chairman of the ward committee said that the 3 Km long Mission Road from Kangpokpi to Mission compound where one of the oldest hospitals in the district KCH is located has been in a deplorable condition since the past many years and people of various section particularly patients had to face tremendous hardships to reach the hospital due to the bad road condition.
However, with the initiate of the local MLA Nemcha Kipgen along with the concerned Minister Rantan Kumar who once visited the Mission Compound and inspected the bad condition of road assured to repair it, said the ward Chairman.
`We are enthusiastically delighted to see the road in a fine condition since it is very much vital particularly on medical ground not only for the local populace but the entire community within the district as a whole`, added Hari.
While lauding the Minister and the local MLA, Kangpokpi Ward No.10 Chairman Hari Chhetry said that the benevolent social service rendered by MLA Nemcha Kipgen has been believed by the people particularly from Mission Compound as a blessing and also articulated happiness over the MLA for decoding her assurance into practice within a short period of time in the interest of the general public.
