IMPHAL, July 2: Chief Judicial Magistrate/ Imphal East has remanded Arambam Naobi Singh, 25 who reportedly went on a stabbing spree at Takhel Keithel Macha yesterday killing a person and leaving two injured to police custody till July 6.
Lamlai Police produced Naobi, who was arrested along with a foot and two inches long knife yesterday before the court today.
The police appealed for judicial custody of the accused before the court, however, he was remaned to police custody.
Meanwhile, the JAC formed in connection with yesterday`™s incident protested before the Lamlai Police demanding the police to hand over the accused to them.
