IMPHAL, Jul 10: On the last sitting of the 11th Session of the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly today, the Manipur Appropriation (No 5) Bill, 2015 was passed by Members of the House after having a threadbare discussion.
The bill was moved by Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh who also holds the portfolio of Finance.
Opposition MLAs Dr I Ibohalbi Singh, Th Shyamkumar Singh and L Ibomcha Singh took part in the discussion on the bill.
CM Ibobi who is the Leader of the House also tabled Medium Term Fiscal Policy Statement, Fiscal Policy Strategy Statement, Macro Economic Framework Statement and disclosures while Chairman of Hill Areas Committee, Manipur Legislative Assembly Dr Chaltonlien Amo tabled Seventh Report of the Hill Areas Committee during the session.
