IMPHAL, Jul 25: The Imphal West District Police Commando including women police has conducted frisking and checking at North AOC and arrested one active member of KCP (Mangal) organisation on July 23.
According to a release of the PRO, Police Department, the arrested cadre was defined as Naorem (o) Rajamani Devi alias Manileima, 55, wife of N. Munal Singh of Kongpal Khaidem Leikai.
Investigation revealed that she had served demand letters to various government offices, general public and businessmen etc., in different places of Imphal West areas, it said.
A case has been registered at Imphal Police Station and investigation is going on, it said.
