IMPHAL, Nov 3: A condolence meeting was held today at 11:30am at the Conference Hall, JNIMS Hospital to pay respect on the sudden demise of Prof Th Biren Singh, HoD (Medicine) and former director JNIMS.
A statement of the JNIMS said a two-minute silence was also observed for the departed soul.
“We, all teaching and non-teaching staff of JNIMS, express our profound grief and sorrow on the untimely demise of our HoD (Medicine) and former director JNIMS namely Prof Thokchom Biren Singh.”
“We all acknowledge his active contribution in setting up and invigorating of JNIMS as a premier medical institute in the State.”
