IMPHAL, Dec 17: The Manipur State Minorities Commission is going to observe the ‘Minorities Rights Day – 2015’ on December 18 at Maharaja Chandrakriti Auditorium, Palace Compound.
The observance is to be held with the objective of strengthening the cause of the minority minorities by enhancing awareness, protecting and promoting rights of the minorities as enshrined in the Indian Constitution and peace and harmony in the State.
Agriculture and Fisheries Minister Md Abdul Nasir; Parliamentary Secretary (MOBC & SC and Science & Tech) Md Amin Shah; Chairman of Waqf Board Md Fajur Rahim and MLA Wangjing Tentha constituency Paonam Brojen will grace the occasion as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
