IMPHAL, Dec 20: Registered society under MSR and JJAct Sana Ebemma currently running an Observation Home for girls at Langthabal Lep is organising a mega fashion event under the title ‘Sanagi Likphang’ on December 23 at Hotel Imphal as curtain raiser to kick start three months long campaign promoting transgender community rights.
Making the announcement during a press meet held today at Manipur Press Club Imphal, secretary of the society, RK Sujata that during the campaign series of panel discussion, pride walk, workshops and consultation programme etc will be conducted to promote rights of transgender in the larger community.
Sujata further mentioned that the campaign will be organised at a state level and witness the participation of transgender, state administrative officials, guardians and parents of transgender.
