IMPHAL, February 21: The Anal Students Union lauded the State Government for installing CCTV cameras in the upcoming Class XII examination centre conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) for monitoring to prevent unfair means and unwanted incidents occur in the examination centre.
The union appealed to the concern authority to install CCTV cameras in the upcoming Class X examination stating that both exams are equaled important.
On supporting the government efforts to bringing quality education in the state, they said ALT has been playing pivotal role in complete eradication of mass copying and impersonation in the examination halls.
They also sought the other civil organisations and government agencies to campaign against the malpractices in the examination halls.
The Student union warned the concern organisations or individuals to refrain from indulging picnics and parties, loitering around, sports and functions during the examination time.
They also extended their best wishes to all the intending candidates of the examinations.
