SILCHAR, February 25 (JNN): The All Assam Manipuri Students’ Union has strongly condemned the Naga Students’ Federation’s ban on Meitei/ Manipur vehicles in Naga populated areas and claimed the act to be unwarranted and unjustifiable.
Speaking to media persons this evening in Silchar, AAMSU president Pangabam Nillkanta said the act of the NSF is not that of a students’ body.
He demanded that such act should be revoked at the earliest.
If the NSF fails to revoke the act at the earliest, it should be held responsible for the agitations launched by the AAMSU in collaboration with other student bodies of Assam, warned AAMSU general secretary Wahengbam Modhusudon.
