IMPHAL, Mar 10: High Court of Manipur Registrar General Songkhupchong Serto has been appointed as the additional Judge of the court.
The Rashtrapati Bhavan has issued an order in this regard, informed a source.
Following the official order, his swearing in ceremony will be held at the earliest, informed the source.
With the S Serto’s appointment as the additional Judge, the High Court of Manipur will now have five Justice.
The court has already Chief Justice LK Mohapatra, Justices RR Prasad, N Kotishwar and Kh Nobin. However, Chief Justice LK Mohapatra will be retiring in June this year.
