IMPHAL, Oct 7: The Governor of Manipur, Gurbachan Jagat has extended his heartiest greetings to the people of Manipur on the occasion of Mera Chaoren Houba.
In his message, the Governor stated that festival of Mera Chaoren Houba celebrated on the advent of Mera-Tha (September/October) every year aims at preserving and promoting unity and integrity among all sections of the people in Manipur.
The Governor further stated that while celebrating the festival, we should make utmost efforts to rejuvenate the affection, brotherhood and friendship amongst the society.
