IMPHAL Jan 6: Manipur team left Imphal today for participating in the forthcoming 16th National Youth Festival 2011 to be held at Udaipur Rajasthan from Jan 12th to 16th Jan 2011.
A strong Manipur team comprising 30 girls, 52 boys and eight officials and led by L Mohindro has left Imphal today. M Chandrakumar flagged off the team today morning from Khuman Lampak. The Manipur team will start by bus from Imphal to Guwahati and will travel upto Udaipur by train. The team will participate in the several events like Elocution, Guitar, Tabla, Harmonium, Flute, One-act play, Classical vocal solo, Classical solo dance, Group dance and Group song of the National Youth Festival which is being organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Government of India.
