IMPHAL, Jan 7: With an objective to ease the inconveniences and difficulties of standing long queue to withdraw pensions at banks by the elderly pensioners of the state, a separate counter/ATM booth for the pensioner was opened today at SBI, Imphal MG Avenue.
According to a release of the Manipur state Pensioner Union, the newly opened separate counter/ATM both for the pensioner was part of their long cherish demands to the bank authorities likewise, UBI has initiated maintaining of separate counter for pensioners of the state on date 8,9 and 10 of every months. Such initiative taken up by the bank authorities will reduce hardship felt by the pensioners of the state during the time of withdrawal of the pensions from the banks and later expressed appreciations to the concerned bank authorities for such good will initiatives taken up by the bank authorities, the statement added.
