Cycle rally to preserve Agricultural land flagged off

IMPHAL, Feb 8: A cycle rally with the theme “Save Agriculture Land” organized by the Loumee Sinmee Apunba Lup (LOUSAL), has been flagged off today.
The rally at the same time also focus to draw the attention of the concerned authority for the LOUSAL’s demand for implementation of National Agriculture land Act in the State.
The rally was flagged off from Palace compound this morning at 8 am by Deputy Director, Soil Chemist, Agriculture Department of Manipur, Ph. Rajendra. The rally will cover 44 places in the entire four valley district within 5 days by 150 cyclists. The rally aims to give awareness on issue of shriking Agriculture Land and waste land.
