Narcotic bureau team arrives in state

    IMPHAL, May 31: Relying on the official information on the increasing trend of trafficking of narcotic drugs imported from neighboring Myanmar country by the local dealers, an official team of Narcotic Control Bureau Government of India led by VS Sahasane Asst. director Ops a unit of Ministry of home affairs, government of India has arrived in the state capital on May 29, to launch a major drive in the state.

    According to an official source the central NCB team along with state unit NCB of Manipur police department will start the special operations to drive against the illegal selling of narcotic drugs in the state as a part of preventive measures for the eradication of drug trafficking in the state the source added.
