[box color=”green”]Hundreds of people from Chandel District gathered and blocked the NH39 near Pallel and Thamlapokpi today the 28th sept.2011 in protest against the communally motivated (so to say) chakka Bandh imposed by Transporters & drivers union at Kakching Lamkhai since 24th sept.2011 in which many vehicles belonging to the people of Chandel were vandalised & burnt including an ambulance of District Hospital Chandel which wasn’t spared at all and assaulting of some innocent civilians[/box]
