IMPHAL, Oct 22: KYVO defeated ABA by 5-1 while THAU defeated YWU by 7-6 in today’s matches of 55th CC Meet Qualifying Football Tournament held at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal.
In the first ground, the goals for KYVO were scored by A Sonamani (one goal), Ngouba (two goals) and L Mahesh (two goals).
In the ground, THAU and YWU were first locked in 2-2 till the end of the normal time.
The goals for THAU were scored by Kh Vicky and H Romen while Shangker and M Leninkash scored the goals for YWU.
Later, THAU defeated YWU by 5-4 in the tie-breaker.
Kh Vicky, L Milan, W Sanathoi, Priyananda and N Famous were the scorers of THAU while M Leninkash, Th Premjit, M Premeshwori and Bjien scored the goals for YWU in the tie-breaker.
