IMPHAL, Nov 4: Ajad Khan of Manipur defeated teammate Amarjit by 6-1,6-4 in the quarter final match of men’s singles of Northeast Cash Prize Tennis Championship held at Officers’ Club, Lamphelpat.
With this win Ajad Khan has reached the semi-final round of the tournament. Other semi-finalists from the state are Sanjoy and Premjit.
Ajad Khan will meet Lalrinawma and N Sanjoy of Manipur will play against teammate N Premjit in the semi-final round.
