IMPHAL, Dec 6: The ensuing 12th session of 9th Manipur Legislative Assembly which was given approval by the Governor of Manipur to be scheduled from December 20 and which is assumed to be the last sitting of 9th Manipur Legislative Assembly is likely to have a three-day sitting.
It may be mentioned that a state cabinet meeting held on November 23 chaired by the Chief Minister Okram Ibobi at his official bungalow has approved the summoning of 12th session of 9th Manipur Legislative Assembly and subsequently the approval of the cabinet has been sent to the Governor for consent.
In the meantime, the Governor of Manipur after giving his consent for holding the assembly session starting from December 20, the business advisory committee of the Manipur Legislative Assembly has decided to call its meeting on December 13 at the office chamber of Speaker Manipur Legislative assembly at 2 pm for deciding various proceedings and agendas of the assembly session.
