IMPHAL, December 18 (Newmai News Network): Refuting to the report that Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) was involved in the recent Khoupum fiasco where Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Gaikhangam and some MLAs were “blockaded” by it, the outfit today washed off its hands regarding the incident.
ZUF joint secretary Aihong Remroi said the allegation was unfounded and baseless. The outfit then warns those elements responsible for dragging its name in the Khoupum incident. Remroi said the report was an attempt to tarnish the name of the ZUF by certain elements.
