IMPHAL December 4: The Co-ordination Committee (CorCom) which comprises of the KCP, KYKL, PREPAK, PREPAK(Pro), RPF, UNLF and UPPK has clamped a boycott on the workings of the Congress party with immediate effect.
A release by the umbrella organization has stated that the Congress led government is being anti-people and anti-revolutionary and has been banned with immediate effect indefinitely. The release has further stated that no individual should contest under the Congress banner nor should become a member or worker of the said political party.
The outfit also clamped impositions that no camps should be organized nor should any public rally or feast be organized in relation with the Congress party. Camera meetings are also banned by the CorCom and none should hoist the Congress flag at their residences, the release added. The imposition is also clamped on transporters to refrain from hiring vehicles to the Congress candidates.
Further, CorCom also warned that those found defying the impositions of the revolutionary outfit would be severely reprimanded and none should rally to counter the dictates made by the combined organizations, the statement added.
