IMPHAL, Feb 3: The Imphal Free Press has appointed well known senior journalist Irengbam Arun as its Resident Editor with effect from today.
The current editor Pradip Phanjoubam who has been appointed as a national fellow at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, IIAS, Shimla, will however continue to be group editor, publisher and printer of the newspaper in absentia.
The latter will be joining the academic institute from April, 2012 to research on the broad topic of “Northeast Question”.
