IMPHAL, Feb 25: The proscribed RPF today observed the Independence Demand Day at its council headquarters, general headquarters, tactical command, strategic command, 252 mobile battalion and other units and bureaus.
A statement of the RPF isssued by publicity secretary T Leishemba mentioned that the RPF has completed 33 years of its existence in the region struggling for the “right to self-determination” of the people of Manipur.
RPF president, Irengbam Chaoren also gave his warm greetings to the people of Manipur and also to the media fraternity on the occasion of Independence Demand Day.
