IMPHAL, Feb 3: A combined team of Imphal east commando and 30 AR arrested a member of PREPAK (VC), Haobam Bashanta, 41, son of H Mohon Singh of Sawombung Thongkhong from Sawombung bridge. On verification, he disclosed that he joined the organization last May though a s/s district commander, Nongdamba. Under the latter’s command, he supplied arms and ammos including the hand grenade that was hurled at the house of Thokchom Kala of Sawombung Thongkhong on January 18 as part of CORCOM attack on Congress workers.
