IMPHAL, Apr 7: The banned KCP (Military Council) on Saturday claimed that the outfit has finally cracked the case of March 27 Keishampat bus fire incident which claimed the lives of two young handymen.

The Central Committee of KCP (MC) has investigated into the incident and managed to identify the culprits involved in the killing of the two handymen, according to Nongdrenkhomba s/s finance secretary of KCP (MC).

The heinous crime was committed by alleged members of a taxi society in cahoots with a gang of criminals using the name of a hill-based militant group, KCP (MC) alleged.

It further said the outfit has imposed a ban on the taxi society involved in the killing and that the society should not continue passenger service unless KCP (MC) issues further notice/order to the affect.
