Naga Peoples Front completes one year

IMPHAL, April 1 (Newmai News Network): The Manipur unit of Naga Peoples Front (NPF) is one year old now.

Headquartered at Senapati town, the NPF, Manipur unit  on March 31 observed the completion on one year.

The party workers and well wishers of the party led by its state vice president Solomon Veino and other prominent public leaders including R.V. Shirang, L.K. Chongloi, Louno Andrew, frontal organisations leaders, youth wing, president T. Roberth Maram and women wing president, Ms. Henya Lirina and others.

“In commemorating its foundation day, NPF Manipur has profoundly acknowledged the trust and confidence of the general public on NPF. The essence of people support has embolden and enabled the party to open its account in the 10th Manipur assembly election under the able and dynamic leadership of Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio and party president Dr. Shiirhozelie, when other national and regional parties miserably failed to open their account,” the party communique stated today. 

The party members solemnly pledged to work for the just cause of the people with sincerity and transparency. The party affirmed to work tirelessly for the promises made during election.

The observation was graced and blessed by Pastor A.S. Graceson Marao, Poumai Baptist Church Senapati.

“As a symbolic significance, the old flag is replaced by a new flag which flung high to symbolise the “Dawn of  New Era” with party principle `peace prosperity and development”`, said an NPF communique.
