IMPHAL, Apr 7: The wreckage of an aircraft and bombs of the WW II which were discovered at Kounu hill during a three-day search conducted from April 1 to April 3 by Kounu Lairembi Lup have been handed over to the officials of state archaeology department.
The remnants of the WW II were handed to the officials of state archaeology department by Sekmai constituency MLA Khwairakpam Devendra and Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker I Hemochandra at a simple function at Senjam Chirang youth Club yesterday, a release said.
