IMPHAL, May 2: The Raphei Katamnao Long (RKL), Ukhrul district has condemned Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh for his apathy and step-motherly treatment meted out to Ukhrul district.
A release of RKL said that Ukhrul district has been neglected in all aspects for over a decade due to absence of Cabinet Ministers and yet Ibobi continues to have his eye on the district as a target of discrimination.
Further it also said that the uneven distribution of Cabinet Posts has led Ukhrul district face the same fade as that of past. With this complete illusion over the injustice meted out by the Chief Minister of Manipur in the form of partiality clearly transparent in favor of other hill district leaving Ukhrul district blank in the list, it added.
