IMPHAL, May 2: The state government has approved the detention order of two individuals including a woman under the National Security Act recently, said a source.
It has informed that the state government after minutely considering the grounds for detention furnished by the District Magistrate of Imphal West for both the individuals approved the order of detention.
The two are identified as Tongbram (n) Leichonbam (o) Binarani Devi alias Eche, 37 wife of L Dhanabir Singh alias Dhana alias Ibai of Singda Kadangband Part I, under Imphal West and Leiphrakpam Gopen Singh alias Khangba alias Roshan, 32 son of (L) L Biren Singh of Langthabal Phuramakhong, Singjamei.
Gopen is identified to be a member of the People Liberation Army (PLA/CORCOM).
