IMPHAL, May 12: The 42 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR(S) organized an awareness programme on prevention of drug abuse and illicit trafficking at Chandel district on Saturday. More than 152 persons including representatives from various organizations attended the event.
In another occasion, 27 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR (S) organized immunization and Hepatitis detection program at Kakching today. Assam Rifles has made tremendous progress in immunizing local population from the various deadly diseases by providing vaccination to an increasing number every time.
