IMPHAL, June 6: A self- styled captain of the proscribed RPF/PLA, Asem Ibotombi was on Wednesday sent to the Guwahati Central Jail by an NIA special court.
The RPF/PLA captain was apprehended by a team of NIA sleuths assisted by local police from Gopalpur, Berhampur district in Oddisa on May 26 last. He was remanded to NIA custody for seven days by the special court of NIA at Guwahati on May 30 last.
