IMPHAL, June 16: Unidentified miscreants left a Chinese hand grenade at the residence of a forest ranger, Yumkhaibam Amumacha, aged 55, son of Y Kundo of Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal this early morning around 4:45am. Family members informed the police, who came and picked up the grenade at around 5:20am today.
Meanwhile, a release of the Ayangleima Women’s Welfare Association has stated that a sit in protest was held at the locality denouncing such threats.
