IMPHAL, June 18: The bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liqours and beers seized during a late evening raid of an illegal liquor shop opened in an alley at MG Avenue, Thangal Bazar on June 16 were handed over to the Lamphel Excise department today.
The seized items were handed over by a team of the Imphal West police led by DSP (Ops) S Ibomcha this evening at the excise office in the presence of media persons.
It may be mentioned that a team of Imphal West police led by its SP Jayenta had raided the shop selling illegal Indian made Foreign Liquor and recovered around Rs two lakhs worth of IMFL and beer.
Two salespersons identified as Rajesh Kumar, 41 son of Ramgatsa and Rajukumar, 28 son of Ram Prisa of Bihar were also arrested during the raid.
