IMPHAL, July 25: The Tribal Peoples of Manipur and the Movement for Tribal People’s Rights Manipur have submitted a memorandum to the Home Minister of the state subjecting “complaint against non-implementation of the Manipur Reservation of Vacancies in post and services (for SCs & STs) Act 1976 in the Manipur Police Housing Corporation Ltd., a Government of Manipur undertaking (hereinafter referred as MPHC Ltd), as result of which there are only 11 regular employees belonging to Schedule Tribe category (instead of 34), out of the total strength of 109 regular employees.”
