IMPHAL, July 17: REYS defeated FORCE by six wickets in the ongoing MCA U-16 Cricket Tournament 2012 at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium today.
After winning the toss, FORCE took to bat and scored 58 runs in 16.5 overs all out. FORCE batsmen, Aktar scored 19 runs in 41 balls and Azaz scored 7 runs in 11 balls (not out).
REYS bowlers, Rohit took three wickets, Sanjit tool two wickets, Nicky and Ranjan scored one wickets.
In reply, REYS chased the target of 59 runs in 16 overs for 4 wickets. REYS Batsmen, Sanjit took 19 runs in 26 balls (not out) and Johnson took 12 runs in 23 balls.
FORCE bowlers, Munshir took three wickets and Azaz took one wicket.
All-rounder Sanjit of REYS was declared man of the match for scoring 19 runs (not out) and taking two wickets.
