IMPHAL, Aug 27: The Joint Administrative Council (JAC) of All Manipur Trade Unions Council (AMTUC) and All Manipur Govt Employees Organization (AMGEO) has urged the state government to pay the remuneration of employees, labourers and pensioners on time.
According to a release of JAC, the Congress led government in the state has come to power for the third time now, but the promises made in the earlier terms have not been fulfilled yet.
The Chief Minister himself announced that 6th central pay commission will be extended in the state. But it has not been completely done yet, it said.
It has further continued that the pay anomaly has not been updated. New ACP scheme order has not been received, children education allowance has not been provided. Employees under Ad-hoc, casual, muster-roll and work-charge have not been regularised. The remuneration which should be paid to the employees, labourers and pensioners for the increase in prices of commodities has not been paid. Instead of clearing the earlier dues, the state government has added more dues.
