IMPHAL, August 13: 39 Assam Rifles of 27 Sector under the aegis of “Red Shield Division” provided Medical Assistance toaccident victims at Muallam village under Thinghat Sub Division, Churachandpur District on12 Aug 2012 at 1800hr. On receiving information regarding a civilian vehicle meeting with an accident between Muallum and Thinghat, a medical team of the 39 Assam Rifles was immediately rushed to the site. The medical team immediately evacuated and administered first aid to the victims. The three victims namely Thangsinmum, age 10 years, Kappu age 17 years and Thanghaulian, age 4 years all residents of Muallum village were thereafter brought to unit Hospital and provided full medical care. The prompt action by Security Forces operating in the areas was well appreciated by the local present at the accident site.
