The today match saw KSC quite dominating. In the 36th minute a left flank cross by KSC’s T Nelson Kom was received by Lalneidik Hmar as a header goal to take the lead by 1-0.

But the next four minute i.e. 40th minute of the match saw an equalizer goal. Taking advantage of a throw in received by TRAU, TRAU’s throw in specialist L Chandramani makes a long throw towards the KSC goal post but due to a little mistake made by the KSC goal Keeper the ball touches the KSC goal keeper’s hand and enters the net making an equalizer.

Till the end of first half both the teams could not succeed in adding any goal.

KSC played attack strategy in second half of the match; taking advantage of it, Bonylaino was able to convert a short pass made by Lalneidik Hmar into a goal confirming its win towards TRAU.

The later part of the match saw KSC taking full control of the match and keeps attacking, but unfortunately two attacks where it could have been otherwise goals were missed hitting it at the goal post.

Meanwhile, TRAU players tried really hard to equalize the goal but all went in vain. In the 30th minute of the match, M Manglemba of TRAU was booked a yellow card by the referee. As he had already seen a yellow card in the earlier match he will not be playing for the next match with NISA.

TRAU’s coach M Ratan speaking at the post match said that mismanagement of the team has led to today’s defeat. Our players were also seen playing with negligence. They tried to equalize the goal in the second half but did not succeeded. The goals scored by KSC were not expected ones but it was due to lack of seriousness from our goal keeper.

KSC’s coach said we played attack strategy. Both the wing defenders were made to overlap each other. Mid-fielder did a great job. These have made us won the match.
