IMPHAL, Aug 27: CDO Thoubal arrested an activist of UNLF on Sunday at about 3:50 pm during a search operation at Thoubal Haokha.
The arrested person has been identified as Kshetrimayum Priyobarta alias Keirelngakpa, 26, son of Ksh Khomdon Singh of Kiyam Siphai Babu Bazar, said a police release.
On questioning, the individual revealed that he is an active cadre of UNLF and presently holding the post of lance corporal with army no 2045, it further said.
